u are a true poineer!!! this is something thats very personal and i give u SOOOO much credit for putting this on youtube!! i was born deaf and at age 2 1/2 i got my fist cochlear implant and then i got my second when i waz 9. its always been very hard to talk to people when they ask “whats that thing behind ur ear?” but i have learned to become a stronger and i have learned to stand up for myself and others. and i think that all of us who are hearing impaired should stand up together.

Hi, i have trouble with my right ear its just build up of wax but about 2 weeks ago i woke up one mornin and i was deaf in my right ear, i went to the drs and it took about a week till i got my ear syringed but that week was horrible i really appreciate my hearing now! you are a great person and your right i would rather hear then feel embarresed about hearing aids anyway its not a big deal! i would of walked around with a big sighn sayin i cant hear you!!!!! lol All the best!!!

About 4 years ago someone screamed in my right ear. Now i have one of those in the ear hearing aids. It does help a lot and you cant see it at all!

im 25 yrs old. been using hearing aids since i was about 8. but i stopped using them from 13yrs-20 yrs old. lotta kids teased me. so i took it personal. but i started using them again. i can say that its a blessing and a curse. a curse cuz people still view me as “different”. But a blessing cuz i can hear a lot better. im almost certain that my hearing loss came from the infections i had when i was a kid. although the doctor’s said otherwise. but im still glad i have them
